What this site knows about you
Close to nothing, and this page explains exactly what the exceptions are.
Positionlog has no accounts, no comments, no forms and no mailing list. There is nowhere on this site to type an email address, because nothing here would receive it. That removes most of what a privacy page normally has to explain.
Server logs
The server that delivers these pages keeps ordinary web-server logs: the page requested, the time, an IP address, the browser's user-agent string and the referring page. That is the standard record any web server keeps in order to work and to be debugged. It is not joined to anything else, it is not sold, and it is not used to build a profile of you.
Partner links
Some outbound links on this site go through a redirect at /go/ before reaching the vendor. The redirect exists so the site keeps one list of partner destinations instead of pasting tracking URLs into articles; it records nothing about you beyond the ordinary server log described above.
Once you arrive at a vendor's site, that vendor may set a cookie to remember that you came from here — that is how affiliate attribution works, and the cookie windows for the programmes behind these links run from 30 to 120 days. What happens on the vendor's site is governed by the vendor's own privacy policy, not this one. What pays for this board names every programme involved.
Cookies set by this site
None that identify you. This site sets no advertising cookies, runs no remarketing pixels, and embeds no social widgets, so there is nothing here loading third-party trackers alongside the page.
Analytics
If measurement is ever added to this site it will be a privacy-respecting, cookieless product and this page will say which one before it goes live, not afterwards. As of 24 September 2026 there is none.
Your rights, and the practical version
Under the GDPR and similar laws you have rights of access, correction, deletion and objection over personal data held about you. The practical position here is that this site holds no personal data about you that could be looked up, because there is no identifier to look it up by — only raw server logs, which are rotated and not indexed by person.
If you want to ask anything about this, or want a log entry removed and can identify it, email [email protected].
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top of it changes with it. There is no list to notify, which is another consequence of not running one.
